My "office" EDC is a Kershaw Skyline with a deep carry clip (the stock clip location is horrible in the tip up position, it's my only criticism of an otherwise awesome US made knife).

Love the skyline. In fact it was my first knife with a pocket clip. I see they have one on blade hq with carbon fiber scales and a s30v blade right now..I might have to buy it :-)

Man, I really like that. It appeals to my inner adolescent who thought dagger blades were the coolest thing ever. There's also a symmetry to it that really appeals to my OCD lol. I like the opening style, pretty unique. The Celtic knot engraving sure doesn't hurt either. This is the kind of thing I'd collect if I were into that sort of thing.

It was the symmetry that drew me to it also....I do love me a dagger (Currently have a Gerber Mk2, issue Fairbairn-Sykes, CRKT Sting and Kershaw Trooper lying about the house somewhere).

Sadly, while the mechanism is cool looking, it's mechanically flawed in the ways I note...Any opening mech which encourages 'flipping' but in that flipping absolutely guarantees edge and point damage is really not a great idea.

Just curious if anyone has the carbon fiber s30v kershaw skyline? What do you think? Worth the 99 dollars on bladehq? I love this little knife for some reason, have 2 g10 versions.

Got my kershaw skyline carbon fiber s30v black blade. Going to carry it to work tomorrow. :-) this was my first ever knife I bought some 12 years ago so I have a special place in my heart for the skyline.
