If there are major issues with the SG2 then perhaps other steel could be substituted in the blue g10 handles. I suspect there would be strong demand for superblue, zdp, or good old vg-10. Listed in order of my preference of course.

Are these (Blue G-10 and Burnt Orange FRN) going to sprints or regular production?

Nice bump Payne!

Is there another alternative steel Spyderco may be considering for this run of the blues?
Going back to Caly.

I would be pretty excited to see a burnt orange G10 Delica in HAP40. :D

I was a little excited to try a new steel in SG2, but at this point I really don't care what it is. I just want the blue G10 on a Delica! I just hope they didn't scrap the whole project because of the difficulties with the steel. I feel strange saying it, but I am more interested in this project than anything else we know of, including the imminent M4 PM2.

Must be telepathy. I was just wondering what had ever happened to the G10 Delica Sprint run, and lo and behold, there are 9 posts about it in the past week. Perhaps if we all just concentrate on it at the same time, and use the Force...

Sorry to bump this necrothread (figured it'd be better than starting a new one), but I remembered this thread this morning and wondered if the knife in question had gotten any more traction? I for one would still love to see a G10 Delica in any steel! :D :spyder:

I love my Delica and I'd definitely buy more premium versions of it (not ridiculously priced of course) but burnt orange? Come on. I can't carry that around like a beacon screaming "hey everybody, look at my pocket. I've got a knife!".
S35/S110/whatever in classy black, grey, or dark blue please.

Thank you Dan! Get outta here with that orange nonsense! Can't believe this thread hasn't been bumped in over a year. My hope hasn't dwindled.
