Maaaaaan...I was soo excited!

Post by jalcon »

Ordered my 2016 catelog about 5 weeks ago, been checking my mail eagerly everyday, in hopes to get that spyderco package with some new reading material in it. Well I finally got that package today..but no catelog! Yep..package was ripped open, probably fom shipping, idk. Or maybe the mail man enjoys Spydercos too..probably the former though. Either way, sucks. Alas, I now sit here Spyderco catelogless. This ever happen to any of you guys? First world problems, I know.

Well, request another one. Too bad you cannot trust everyone at the post office.

That really bites, man. :( Sorry to hear that. I am sure the SFO will send you another catalog without any trouble.

I'm sure an new catalog will be on its way soon! But it still sucks to wait because of these things :(

I've seen this discussed a couple of times. It seems like a case of putting a high quality catalog in a poor quality envelope. When mine arrived I took pictures just in case something was missing and I needed some kind of evidence of the condition that the package arrived. Luckily, I wasn't missing anything even though both ends were shredded.

Yeah, that's exactly what mine looked like, except empty, haha.

I've had that happen twice now with the last 2 catalogs I've received from the SFO. The package came slaughtered and missing some stickers i had them throw in. I think a tyvek type envelope would be a better idea for shipping catalogs and such.

Both catalogs I've had sent to me came badly damaged from shipping as well.

My catalogue and calendar arrived safely and I live in Europe. I must say it's pretty funny that even after the contents had been plundered USPS still delivered the envelope :D

Thanks Sal, Yeah..no complaints here..you guys offer a very quality product guide each year and it's free. Just hate to see them end up face down in a puddle somewhere in transit. Honestly a single strip of packing tape across the opening of each side would do the trick.
