Hi All,
I am soooooo upset that I didn't pick up a Tuff when they were in production.
Is there any chance that this model will ever be sprinted?
I really hope so.
Cheers, BN.

Hard to say from the viewpoint of an ELU...but I wouldn't hold my breath
On the bright side...they come up really regular on all the secondary mkts...sometimes for less than original list price :D

Yeah, I'm sad I missed out on the Tuff as well and with the counterfeiting going on, buying Spyderco knives used just gives me the willies because I don't know enough to make sure I'm buying a real one. I wish they'd re-run the Tuff just so I know I'm getting the real thing!

I don't think I've seen a fake Schempp Tuff to date...too small of a market for it to be a viable option for counterfeiters to make any money. I wouldn't be too worried about fakes regarding the Schempp Tuff (If anyone has seen one please feel free to jump in). Pick one up on the secondary market with reasonable confidence. Counterfeiters tend to pick popular models because they'll make more money that way because more people are seeking to buy those models, and the Schempp Tuff wasn't really all that popular (Didn't sell well enough to be regular production). Here's a picture of mine, simply because I'm a bad influence and you should buy one.

I would have to agree with Branden, I don't think I've ever heard of a Tuff being counterfeited, also I see them all the time on the secondary for very reasonable prices. I'm not sure why I never picked one up but probably will eventually. The only time I ever handled one was at the SFO, its one heck of a stout chunk of knife and seemed very large in hand. Of course at that time I wasn't really into big :spyder:'s but now am. The more I think about it the more I think maybe I to need to grab one
Happy to be part of this great forum and group of down to earth spyderco addicts, Thanks Sal and gang.
