Most Iconic Spyderco?

#1

Post by SpyderEdgeForever »

When you think of Spyderco, of all their knives, which one or ones in particular do you think would be the most iconic, ie, reflecting the essence of Spyderco, a symbol, aside from the Spyder itself? Would you say the Endura, the Police, the Delica, the Military or Native, or which?

I'd say the Police. It's a knife that allot of non-knife people seem to know due to movies and shows. It's an older model and it really shows the Spyderco style.
A tiger has claws.
A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.

I would say the Military. It's been around for I believe 20 years or so, and hasn't had any major upgrades. Even the Para 2 is a gen 2 design. The police would be one of them too, but the Military just seems too iconic.

Delica, hands down. The Police would be a close second.

The first knife listed in the catalog: The Police.

Second place for most iconic goes to: The Harpy!

Although many designs have been around longer I think the Para 2 is the knife that best represents Spyderco. What was used as a prop on tv or what came first is kind of irrelevant to me.

Probably the Delica4. It's very evolved and approachable.

The correct answer is PM2.

The other responses were either only semi-iconic, quasi-iconic, partially iconic, or just plain un-iconic.

I'm off to the Bonus Round. They rest of you wait here. Someone will be by shortly with some lovely parting gifts for our contestants tonight. :D

There are so many but this to me is *the* knife that is the poster child of the brand. It may not be the most popular or get the most hype and posts about it, but to me it's like the old wise elder that the whole village looks up to.
