S110V Paramilitary 2 has dropped!!!

Bummer Pops. If that was particleboard or fiberboard that you stabbed through that stuff is more glue than wood and is pretty tough stuff if it is thick. I have not had that issue with S110V myself. I just used my MT18 to break down a deer yesterday. I used it to field dress the deer and to break it down into pieces for the cooler. I am very meticulous when processing and as a result I scrape and nic a ton of bone when I process. I used it to separate joints too. I also used the MT18 in the sink while trimming and cleaning leaves and dirt off the meat and slipped and hit the porcelain a few times accidentally. There are no chips, nics or rolls of any kind. After all that use it still can just barely draw cut phone book paper and it won't shave but it is certainly still cutting pretty well. Under very close inspection with my fingernail you can find two short lengths of edge that are ever so slightly rolled over. You cannot see it but you can feel it. Closer inspection with a loupe shows no signs of chipping and just those small rolls. I do not get many opportunities to really put a knife through this kind of use and I am pretty impressed.

Im a bit dissapointed in S110V already........

What caused the damage?

I stabbed the knife as well as my s30v para into a piece pf wood for a picture and for whatever reason when i pulled it out of the wood the damage was there.... i found it extremely odd. Ill be contacting that warranty department because that shouldnt have happened with any steel

Seems like oddity due to the factory edge, or you hit a knot perhaps

The only one that's been used is the BLK/BLK S30V one. The others had the clip swapped before I was able to get a hold of them, but unused.

I don't have any problem with the color. (Other than someone trying to convince me that its not purple). :cool: Heck, I'm an LSU grad so I might have to get one just because.
