P'Kal? I know that many who want a S110V Yojimbo use theirs for utility but I wonder if S110V is really ideal for self defense purposes?

I too am dying to know if the yojimbo is included in this upgrade. Right now I'm trying to stay emotionally neutral in case it's not happening :o

I sure hope so, because that isn't a good look. The thought crossed my mind, but then why would a reputable dealer photshop a pic and label it production proto?

That prototype looks great to me and much better than the other blue the PM2 has come in previously. Did I mention that I like blue :)

Knifecenter have the same prototype pic. Personally I don't mind it and it can always be pimped with some scales from Cuscadi etc. Main thing is we're getting a production model PM2 in s110v :D

110V production knives, who would have thought such a thing would happen.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

"Production Prototype" means it was one of the test models. I thought I read that Sal was trying some different G-10 colors at some point.

I bet someone who loves purple would have that production prototype as a grail. :)

I can't wait for the pm2 will be my third para . I would also buy a native as long as it has g10 scales, then eventually a yojimbo 2. Thinking about this just makes me wish the caly would come home to golden.
Recent purchases: orange dragonfly 2, CS exclusive paramilitary2, black g10 large chinese lum :spyder:
Wish list: Manix 2 cruwear, navaja, SB delica and SB Caly 3.5 :spyder:
Top 3 edc : s110v paramilitary2 , orange vg10 dragonfly, and Cruwear military :spyder:

Howe's has a product page up for the Para 2 and says they think they will be getting some. List price is $149.95.

Sounds like this model is going to be a great deal to me.

I'm in for a S110V Dodo, but I'm not sure if we'd be able to sell out a whole run in a reasonable amount of time.

It makes you wonder where it all ends. What recipes are left for steel? If someday a steel like this could be as common place as VG10, what would you see in high end exotic customs? I guess we can look forward to vibranium and adamantium sprint runs.

Well, I'm sure there will be basic carbon steel for as long as we have the resources to make it, but it's fun to imagine what the future may bring. What would the pioneers of metal working think of modern powdered steel? Could you imagine going back in time and giving a Viking a H1 Warrior? The fact that it doesn't rust would likely get you executed for witchcraft lol.
