Why no Nishijin Delica?
I wonder why the Delica was never made with black Nishijin scales and ZDP-189 blade as the Dragonfly and R were? I would love to see this knife made. I might quite buying knives! (just kidding :D )

Re: Why no Nishijin Delica?
The "R" is VG10 like the Cricket.
I would jump on a Nishijin Delica myself.

Re: Why no Nishijin Delica?
The Nishijin and ZDP are a great combo for the DF and the ZDP has worked well on larger knives, as well. A Delica Nishijin/ZDP189 would be real nice.
Re: Why no Nishijin Delica?
That would be too much awesome to fit into one knife. :)

I would like one.
I can't remember, are the R and Cricket Moki or Seki City models?

Yes indeed. Maybe they could tone the awesomeness down by changing it to VG-10. :pDonut wrote:That would be too much awesome to fit into one knife. :)

I believe that I recall Sal stating that they had to use up the rest of the blue nishijin before we would see any more of the black nishijin. I prefer the black myself but would purchase a Delica in either. However, a black nishijin in VG10 to match and carry with my R would be just the right amount of awesome.

Re: Why no Nishijin Delica?
Agreed. I'm not too picky either. :) I wonder how difficult it would be to RIT dye the nishijin...bearfacedkiller wrote:ninewalker wrote:I'm in for one :D and maybe make it blue like the Cricket?SpyderNut wrote:Yes indeed. Re: Why no Nishijin Delica?
If I were picky, it might be cool to see a Blue Nishijin Delica with Super Blue. :)

Re: Why no Nishijin Delica?
Recently started collecting the variants of Delicas. Would love to see a blue Nishijin version as well in zdp or vg10.

Re: Why no Nishijin Delica?
Perhaps Sal will read this and make this knife for us? I certainly hope so.
