What is the quality of these knives compared to a spyderco?
What do owners of the different brands think of the spyderco knives?
I was just wondering what the people that owned different brands thought of spyderco products.
I just didn't want to go to bladeforums because I hate that site. This site is soooo much simpler.
Emerson, Benchmade, Kershaw, Buck, etc.

When you look at expensive qualtiy blades you cant really say which make is better than the next, each one will have a product designed by them which is better than the next, Ive never owned a Emerson and donno if I ever will, although Ive heard good things about the knives, personally Im sticking with the 2 brands I now trust, Gerber and Spyderco(newly converted).
As far as what others think of such brands, it comes not down to wether these brands are of quality (since any1 with a moderate IQ knows they are of superb quality) but wether that person likes/dislikes the blades/company for his own "personal" reasons.
Personally I say quality can only be found via testing and not by what someone says.

When I look for quality, I look at a few things...
-Lock stability(had a knife close on my hand once, that was enough)
-Blade thickness
-Blade material
-Blade size(length)
-weight(like some heft to my knives)
-price
Saw a nice kershaw, but it was too **** expensive...
We all start with 10 fingers. Those with Spydies have 9 to spare, Still need a thumb. Good thing I still have 8 to spare...
