...the more I appreciate the compression lock!

I enjoy a good lockback, axis lock, ball-bearing loc, and integral liner lock, but they all appear to lack the strength and reliability of a compression lock. The only lock I'd put more faith in is AR Niemi's centerlock, but I'm told it's a bear to operate.

Thank you, Spyderco, for the Compression Lock.

Yep, I'd have to agree.

It seems to have the benifits of a number of other locks. The speed and slickness of a liner lock, and the stregnth of a lock back.
It's definately one of my favourites <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

I don't have one yet, but have handled the Paul knife.
Paul's button is the king of folder locks IMHO.
It is easy, smooth yet without play whatsoever and extremely strong due to the big axle.
Too bad Lone Wolf Knives only makes such a puny version of the Paul knife.
The original by Gerber was a good size.
One day I will get one of those beauties and not regret the cost at all...<img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

It's the best of the best so far. Simple, easy to maintain and reliable.
