So does this mean it will be g10 or frn scales like the lightweight manix 2. Really hoping for dark blue g10....I just pulled the trigger an hour ago and ordered the black s30v version.

I am carrying a production sample made from production parts that are being assembled now. The 110 models will all be a dark blue and they are not sprints.

RadioactiveSpyder wrote:There have been several mentions of the S110V PM2 in various threads. Release date is "later", meaning late 2015 at earliest, 2016 probably. It's a standard type PM2 model (no crazy mods) outfitted with a S110V blade and dark blue G10 handles. Sal has confirmed this directly. :)
I think this is the knife No FRN just straight PM2 dark blue g10 with S110V . Extra $5 in the plate tomorrow for prayers answered.

Gonna be sooo exciting wait to see if they might have finally made FRN ones..
There has been a fair bit of new FRN/FRCP coming out so maybe it is good time for something revolutionary like an FRN PM2?

Sal already said it will be G-10.

I want to know when the Military 110V is coming out.
On my radar: 110V Military, Police 4 and some sweet Rex 45 Military action.

Newest Spydies: S90v Ti Military, Pacific Salt and a special Kiwi.

Did Sal already say that the production model would be G10? I thought he only stated that his prototype was G10.

I'd be very happy with this blade in G10 as well but I believe that this knife which I consider to be one off the best EDC/user blades around could become an even bigger success if it could be produced in FRN. I quite like the Benchmade Griptilian and have once travelled for a year EDC-ing one in '06-'07 but I think the PM2 is huge competition for the Griptilian being in the same price range and having fancier materials.
(personally I'm sold by the flatter grips on the PM2, Griptilian handles are a bit too chunky for me)
If the PM2 could be produced in FRN and take the price down a bit more I believe it would dominate the planet in a little while, how could you have any argument against it even if you would be one of those weird Spydiehole disliking people? ;)

Jo Sal said his was made with production parts his was G10. I don't think you will see frn in PM2 as someone stated earlier it would be a big investment. Also it would still need a liner set back into the handle for the lock not sure how that would work with the frn since the whole point is simple construction to keep cost down. But I'm new here and don't really know the inner workings or inside info I'm just guessing. But for now All signs point to G10. I like G10 for this knife it really is a higher end production knife with high quality materials. Let me put it this way I sold my Chris Reevs and switched to PM2. This new one will be stiff competition for any high end production company especially if it stays in the $2-$3 hundred range. Just my opinion.

I thought that the one he said to be G10 wasn't necessarily the same one as the one he just claimed was made of production parts.
It also seems like a succesfull knife like the PM2 would be worth an investment.

Like I said either way would be great, Navy Blue G10 would be gorgeous!
I still have my Sebenza but my worn PM2 is usually a lot nicer to use.. ;)

By the way, a reason I don't expect too much of a PM2 in FRN is that I really can't imagine a Military in FRN.. ;)

You want to hear it from the horses mouth I am guessing but he said his is G10 and made with the same production parts as the ones being assembled as we speak.

Pretty cut and dried to me.

Arghhh you guys. Since when was FRN in PM2 and Millie an option? Someone just posted a pipe dream (we all do it :p )and now everyone is scrambling to confirm the how/when/where.

It's gonna be in G10. I bet my pinky toe.
