Agreed. This will give you a pretty decent idea as to what they're currently worth.gbelleh wrote:You can check recently completed eBay auctions for an idea of the going rates.

Re: Meerkat
Looks like the last one to sell on eBay that is exactly like yours (new-in-box, serrated, black) went for $99.95 last week.

Re: Meerkat
yeah i was just looking looks like any where from $90-100 is fair price...i just wanted to make sure i wasnt trying to rip someone off...
USA/GOLDEN made Meerkat
I would go even higher in value for the Golden Colorado, USA Earth Meerkat models made with 440C blade steel. That is still the one Meerkat I even liked using when I had it. Personally I never much liked AUS-6 in any of the Spyders I owned with it. Also the USA/GOLDEN made Meerkats are getting extremely tough to find new or used anymore. I haven't even seen one at a show in 2 to 3 years.gijoe945 wrote:For the black, 50 dollars. For the burgandy, 75 dollars. For the blue, 110 dollars. All prices from 2015 Janesville show.

Re: Meerkat
A new Burgundy sold on a major online retailer in a last couple of months for $89.90. I think the black serrated at $99.99 was a little much.
