Awesome, Thanks! I'll graciously accept runner up! and of course Congrats to Kosta! I definitely agree that the colors pop and I was constantly drawn back to the image for that reason as well, but I also really liked how there was some genuine context to the shot, the knife on a pile of freshly cut clementines that the knife is responsible for cutting. Some great context plus a sweet knife that also looks good, winner every time!

Can't wait to see what this week will bring!

Hello. I not really well speak on English. I use the translator. I am a winner? I am the referee this week? If this is so, I am very glad. Thanks to all for an assessment. I will try to do more beautiful photos.

Yes, Kosta. The winner is supposed to judge the next week and post his or her choice for first place and "runner up" (2nd place) on the following Sunday. Your English is fine so far! To say that it is much better than I could do in Kazakh is a terrific under statememt! :D

Good luck with this week's judging!

You're welcome, Kosta. I've had a lot of fun with this thread too. I think it was a great idea for Johnnie1801 to start the thread.

Would it be possible to get even one picture of a Spyderco in actual USE, preferably in well used condition, beaten and repeatedly sharpened? All the pix seem to be of safe queens...as if Spydercos actually weren´t TOOLS?

Why not join the thread and post up a photo for yourself? :) If you win then you get to choose another winner based on your own judgement.

I haven't quite mastered the technique of taking pictures of knives while I'm using them. It can get a little dicey at times (literally). :D The pic that I posted last week was of a knife that I had just used to open the plastic clamshell packaging that was also in the pic. For my entry this week, here's another photo of a well used Spyder. BTW I agree with SpeedHoles, please join the fun and post your own photos. :)

Yes, It's an old photo but I don't think that I will have time to get out this week and take any new photos. :(
Apollo might have this locked up already anyway. Nice photo! :D

Thought I'd go old school and give the Delica1 some love.

BTW.. This was my very 1st attempt at staging a photo like this. I was so impressed with the photos I see here, I had to try it for myself. I don't have a real camera but my iPad does OK I guess. I apologize in advance for future entrees. besides my lack of a decent dedicated camera or photography experience... my cast of Spydies is limited to 6. Of course it was only 4 two weeks ago and 5 three days ago :D Like so many of us I'm always auditioning new talent ;)

Hi Veeteetee welcome to the forum.
I do not know how all the others are but all my spydies get used. :) for example The Rubicon in my pic above gets used more then 1 day a week. and i bought it when it first came out more then 5 months ago :)

Hi all, thanks for all the great pics. I was given this print recently and thought it went well with my Seki City work knife.

Nice first post.

None of my knives are safe queens but I also don't beat on them so they are holding up well enough.

I encourage you to join the fun and post a pic. Let's see your well used Spydie in action.

Well, this G-10 Dragonfly is a hardworking knife. It just cut the throat of this baby banana and is taking a rest at the moment ;)
