Any word on the blue G10 Delica?

#1

Post by Doc Dan »

Has anyone heard when we can expect the arrival of the blue G10 Delica? This is my most anticipated knife. I am getting one of the KW exclusives, but I most want this blue G10 Delica.

Ouch! This is one I'm really looking forward to so I hope any problems with SG2 steel will be remedied :)

O no! Well, I would always go for something else, say Cruwear, 110V, 204P...as long as I get my blue G10.

I hope they get the steel issue worked out. I was looking for a foliage green Delica high and low, but when Sal dropped the bomb last year about the Blue G10 coming out, I stopped my search cold. I love that blue G10.

Although for some it might be a bit of a let-down, they could certainly just release a VG-10 version now, and then use the SG on a FRN model down the road when things get worked out.

That would be a disappointment for me. I'd rather wait for the SG with the blue G10. Patience is a virtue or something like that isn't it? ;)

I certainly wouldn't turn down vg-10 or super blue if there is a problem with super gold. If the issues can be resolved, then I will wait. So many knives coming out that I'm interested in and my budget is so small, waiting might be the best thing for me :)

Can someone point me in the right direction as to where I can find more info on this knife?

Here -> It's a smurf blue G10 delica in a steel called "super gold" which, if I'm correct, is stainless.

It is a Japanese knife so it has to be made out of a Japanese steel.

I personally can wait for this one rather than see it changed in any way. There is another Delica in the works too so maybe that one will arrive first to satisfy my craving for a new Delica while I wait for this one. :)

Oh yeah. I had forgotten about that one in my excitement over the blue G10 SG.
