Great to be that young/old! (And no one calls the fire department when they light the cake candles like they do on mine!

Happy Happy, VW.

The 21st is my bd too; although I'm happy to be 57. (Better than the alternative, for now).

And many more; life keeps getting better.

VW: I'm with J Smith, man - being 20 sounds like a pretty darn good present all by itself! Maybe he'll throw in a box of Moon Pies with the trade.

Happy Birthday!

(Hey Sal: I hear that the e-commerce setup for the Spyderco web site is being improved. A "wish list" feature like Amazon would be cool, especially if generous strangers could buy you birthday gifts!)

if I cause as much bodily injury in the next 20yrs as I have in this last one, I'll be in trouble...

lets see... might miss one or 2 small ones, but:
head: coffee table x2(left and right eyebrow, age 2 and 3), bunkbed x1(left eyebrow, age 7-8), firehydrant(2" scar rear right, age 10), parked car(concussion, no helmet, age 16)
5 broken ribs, bonechips in shoulders, scar on left thumb and right index, nice scar on back of right arm from biking, more *visable* scars than I care to count(I quit on the arms/hands when I clear 30)... chair in the face, 6 loose teeth and hairline fracture in lower right, still enjoy migranes from that over 2yrs ago.

no busted arms or legs yet, no surgery(ate soup for 2 months for the jaw rather than get wired), 6 stitches so far(4 from firehydrant, 2 inside the roof of my mouth)

Of course, now I play with more powerful, faster or sharper toys... might live to see retirement.

That ain't nothing yet.Wait another 16 years and the real pain will start to crept up on you.I have not been completely pain free in years,I guess since I was in my early 20s.There is all ways something hurting if not the back the hip if not the hip the knee and so on.When they all hurt at the same time, all I can say is thank God Motrin is sold over the counter now.
Anyway enjoy these years.there is no way you can understand this yet but once you get married and have kids the years fly by.

oh, I'm always aching already... knees, wrists, elbows... and once in a while the ribs still get me.

Motrin super strength 400mg's stay in my bag... advil, asprin, tylenol... nothing else works on me.
