Bought from SFO at full retail plus shipping and sold it last year at double the price to a collector who is also not a member. I couldn't get myself to use it. I bought 1 of each of the new Hawkbills. Have the serrated one in my watch pocket and the other one to pay for both in the future. Great little EDC!
I like that there is a non-forum member option to buy the USN knives. It is a great forum, though, if you choose to join it!

For sure, a lot of good folks over there. IMO the MSRP on this one is fair, and the USN discount knocks it out of the park.

Maybe we should both try and get jobs there? Then everything would go faster...
Then again there would maybe be an increase in "lost mail" if there are spydies inside :p

The question for people, who have both PE and SE.
My PE feels much sharper than SE, even more I got two SE and both of them feels almost dull. How are yours?

I got two SE, and one of them is absolutely dull, like I can saw it back and forth on my finger dull. The other is decently sharp, but nothing to write home about. Strongly considering picking up a PE.

The knives were released four weeks ago and still available in both configurations. I am shocked.

I'm kind of surprised they're still available too. I originally ordered one of each which I got in a week, then I ordered a 2nd SE and after 11 days I thought I'd check the tracking # and noticed it went from Golden to Miami and straight past me in Toronto and has just cleared customs in Brazil! LOL

I wish that they would sell out--I'm thinking of buying two more, and I can't afford it with all of my other knife purchases in the past month.

And I agree with others--all of the points on my SE are rounded (from the factory), and it is incredibly dull. I sharpened it a little, but I don't want to completely destroy the collector value with a major sharpening session. :(

I already had a SE regular production Ladyhawk and it came screaming sharp. I purchased two of the USN PE Ladyhawks and they both came quite sharp. Not my sharpest Spydies by any means but they were both easily shaving sharp. They would easily cut printer paper but not so easily cut phone book paper. A few light passes with a white sharpmaker rod and the one I made a user was hair popping sharp. The other one is in the box as a preneed replacement.

Bummer that you guys got dull SE versions. :(
