Now that is a sweet looking patina, Newtron. Very nice! What was your method?

Thanks :)
Basically I started by sticking Opinels into fruits but found there was too much fruit acid. So for the Caly I cut a grapefruit just off center, pat it dry it with paper towel and sandwich the blade between the fruit slices for 15 to 30min. And thats about it.

Wow, impressive bunch of blue spydies there Reject!

Newtron, is that Caly a user? :) I would be tempted to lock it up in a temperature and humidity controlled glass display case with a patina like that.

I had intended it as a user but after I forced the patina with a grapefruit I can't bring myself to roll it into my EDC.
It'll probably find a place in the showcase.

I hear you, and I don't blame you. Still, safe queens IMO is just sad, so much 'wasted' potential ! :D
