I like this video...

Almost like being there...almost...

That first knife modified looks like a Japanese "Basic Tools" in 440C..
I have a small collection of BT knives...None for sale, so do not ask...

Watching that video was an absolute treat. The design and philosophy of the company is why I am a loyal Spyderco customer.

Cool video, but you have me wondering now. What were the 2 blured out labels in the stock room at 9:12. The s30v was easily readable but the 2 to the right of Eric were not.

If I can't cut it with a Spyderco, then I don't need to cut it.

Thanks for the vid, this is why I only buy spyderco's.

Now, where is my PM2 mini I requested. :D

Yes, great video. I too am looking forward to watching part 2. I really have as of late been getting into Spyderco's, and some of their history. I find it quite interesting. Does anybody know if their are any books available? Kinda like a autobiography.

There is, but it's long out of print.

Thanks for the fantastic video, Kristi! This is the closest thing I've seen to what I've been wanting, a Sypderco "Industry on Parade." I don't want anybody to reveal any trade secrets, but it would be great to see a bit more of how the knives are made.

When Sal and I were kids, regrettably in different parts of the country, it was more balsa and tissue paper Fokker D-7 and Spad 10-cent scale "stick models" and metal windup race cars ;)
