It did...and thanks for the compliment. I had it out the weekend before last weekend for the first time this year, but it has snowed since then so I haven't had another opportunity to take it out. I have 4 vehicles...they're kind of the same thing as Spydercos to me...can't have enough lol.

'64 Impala and '77 K5 Blazer are 2 of my 4...I get what you're sayin'. New cars are soulless appliances...not real cars.

Cars are their own separate and I'd argue (From my own perspective), the more addictive obsession.

I'm no mechanic but I am quite mechanically inclined so I do as much as I can.

I like that, and it's quite apt haha. I try not to get in over my head and have done a decent job thus far for the most part. My newest buy is a 2000 Tundra I got a good deal on from a friend of mine. I plan to drive it while swapping a new motor into my Canyon, which should definitely be a learning experience. I've already fixed the cargo light on the Tundra which would stay on constantly when the door was opened and wouldn't self cancel, plugged a hole in one of the tires, etc.

Sorry to hijack your thread IS...as with Spyderco knives, it's hard for me to stop talking when it comes to vehicles.

They're much more complex machines than knives and there is definitely a learning curve. I was always tinkering with my dirtbikes etc. as a kid so I was on the right path from the start. There's a lot more on the internet than there used to be though which helps a lot. Internet forums are also great places to mine knowledge, though make sure you get more than one opinion...and I've never found one as nice of a place as this forum.

Addiction? I can quit anytime I want. In fact I quit buying Spyderco's every night when I go to bed... I don't buy anymore until the next day :). I think I'm up to around 250 Spydies or so, plus over 100 other brands... Maybe I'll quit when I'm dead.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

I must say i love US cars. If i ever have the money i would get a 1969 Charger or a 1968 Fast back Mustang the hair on my arms stands up when i hear those engines. :o (Or what is left off the hair offcourse :D )
O well never going to happen if i keep buying spydies

The addiction is bad, all the stuff I used to buy isn't even a thought any more. I come home from work, hop on the boards, check my email for sales or specials on Spydercos, and then go to each of my favorite sites to make sure I didn't miss anything. I've bought 9 Spydies, the Sharpmaker, and the ultra fine stones in two and a half months. I've bought a Delica 4, Tenacious, Para Military 2, Satin Manix 2 G-10, G-10 Manix 2 with the black coated DLC blade, Manix 2 LW FRCN black handle, Stretch VG-10, Caly 3.5 VG-10, and the Carbon Fiber handled Sage 3 so far. I'm looking at getting either a Endura 4, a Translucent Blue Manix 2 FRCP, or a TiCN Pacific Salt next week.

I've pretty much bought a new Spyderco every week since the second week of January 2015. It's full blown S.A.D. for sure, I'm not sure how much time my wallet has left. Really, I need a new wallet because mine is pretty beat up. Does Spyderco make one?
