Hello!
I am finally a proud owner of a Police 4 Frn K390

, grabbed it on bf sales straight from
spyderco.es website.
Mine is from batch CU which means March 2021, but i have seen some on ebay from batch EV May 2022.
It is a silly question, but are both batches the same in term of qualities?
I am so obsessed over my first
Spyderco

Dear LAASF:
Welcome to the Spyderco Forum.
Yes, the quality of Spyderco knives remains consistent from one manufacturing run to the next. Our QC team makes sure of that.
Stay safe,
Mike

They should be identical.
Sometimes
Spyderco makes small changes known as CQI, or Constant Quality Improvement.
To my knowledge the FRN Police models have been exactly the same run to run.
For comparison sake you can look up the C36
Military model. That model has gone through numerous
revisions despite all of them being included under the
Military 1 designation. The original run had a single liner, coarse jimping and a large logo on the blade. Later they made the jimping smaller, added a second liner, and removed the large print on the blade. Couple years ago they changed the stop pin and made the clip a little curvier.
