i'm fully aware of the honeymoon phase with a new knife, but i've had a crucarta military 2 for a while now and really like it, so having magnacut (which i love) with dlc (which i love) and textured scales (which i love) is a no-brainer recipe for success. this military 2 salt is going to make it hard to rotate through the collection for a while.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
This Yojumbo is a big knife and the beast feels great in the paw when having to force it through those plastic planter pots flowers come in.
I have had to cut several plants out of those more heavy duty pots they grow things in today, as the plants wouldn't simply slide out of those pots, so I cut the plant from them.
Yet, to just look at the shape of the grip on this big knife, I fail to see why it feels so good in the paw. But it's not only big, but it's in charge... here this big knife is in the top of a dead Cedar trunk that was hit by lightning years ago... Have a looksee
Makes for great yard landscaping, I have what was left of the entire Cedar trunk poised across a 6000 pound rock I brought in... The knife is in the top portion of the Cedar.
I collect Cedar stumps and driftwood, bugs don't like the Cedar so much, so they make great landscaping materials. I have some real beauties that are simply amazing to see how they grew.

The contouring and beveled edges are quite nice.bearfacedkiller wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 3:48 amThey are slightly thicker and a little contoured. They feel great in the hand. I can take a pic later.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Thanks brother. I’ve been around but mostly just lurking. Life is good, just really busy.
I’ve had the 15V Manix for quite a while now but have never warmed up to the ergos. The AWT scales are awesome and now I love it. I wish I had done it sooner.
The REX121 Sage was a fomo purchase because of crucible and since I had a few bucks chilling in my PayPal I grabbed a set of AWT scales for it too.
I also snagged a K390 Stretch2XL and a 15V Military recently. I might not be posting much but I’m still at it.
