Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)
You might have noticed ( ) that I really like SE Spydies - but have no experience how serrated egdes work in cleaning / processing fish compared to plain edges (to be precise: I have almost no experience with that kind of work at all).
What is your experience in that regard? (Or did you carry the Stretch XL SE "just" for other tasks and had a dedicated fishing knife with you?)

I have actually never cleaned a fish with a serrated edge - so unfortunately I cannot provide much feedback in that regard. I mostly fish "catch-and-release" though, so I rarely ever give myself the opportunity to try in the first place. In this case the Stretch is my dedicated fishing knife but just for the basic stuff like cutting line, cutting chunks of bait, repairing gear, opening packages, etc. The species of fish in this photo needs to nearly double in size before I can legally harvest it anyway, so this one had to go back.
Love the color ! What dye did you use and how long ? Dan
