Just received it yesterday and swapped the scales out with my older Endela, so have barely got to use it. Looks to be very similarly ground like the Rock Jumper which is amazing.

Jeff, thank you for not getting a new knife and that same day proclaiming how great and awesome is it...that drives me up a wall!! People do that before ever even using it, but if the factory edge is sharp and it flicks nicely, therefore it's a great knife :eye-roll. Thank you for being a realist!

😂 Thanks for noticing. I can only speak of what it looks like at this point.

It has more of a negative blade angle than the Rock Jumper. Both have a nice large PE section at the tip. Both are ground at a lower degree which is nice. Just higher than 15 degrees. I've already put it on the sharpmaker to see. Completely different than the Leaf Jumper that looked to be plus 20 degrees. And the Leaf Jumper serrated had a very small PE section at the tip. I prefer how the RJ is ground.

I liked the serrations on the RJ so much, that I wanted some nice scales for it, but no one is making any, so I found the Endela for $58. I'm going to send my PE RJ to Suingab after the 1st of the year, so he can start making RJ and LJ scales for us.

I once had a discussion of the kopa on this forum, and if it should be considered part of the calypso and caly family group, whether or not it is, it’s definitely a spin off of the calypso design in a 2.5” blade. Its a fantastic model, a little too undersung nowadays unfortunately, hopefully it comes back. I know sal has mentioned of beginning to work on a caly 2.5 model though..
