They are actually the scales from the 52100 steel exclusive from KnifeWorks a few years back. I had around (7) G10 Manix's at one point and did a bunch of swapping around. I loved the gray/black combo, but didn't care for the 52100 steel.

Funny! I put my St. Nicks para 3 blade into my 52100 CF scales because I'm not too fond of that steel either!

Been carrying it nearly everyday the past few weeks...

This one for the past few weeks...after a regrind it really is the ideal EDC blade. I wish that the bearings* would have been properly figured before releasing the Mantra 1 & 2...that was a giant wet blanket burdened upon two potentially perfect EDC designs.
*or skipped altogether in favor of PB washers and a stiffer detent...
So it goes.

people that have never had a micarta manix or mini manix are in for a treat when the crucartas drop. micarta goes great with these knives.
