When Eric designed the Manix 2 he clearly had a deep pocket carry in mind - those clip screw holes couldn't be closer to the butt of the knife. I bet he thought you couldn't possibly go deeper.

Then Casey said "hold my beer."

Sweet new Ibis AND a cool knife you've got there!
Last week I sold my six-year-old Ibis.
😢🚲🤑
Thanks Rusty!

I rode a Bikes Direct fixed gear for about 10 years before I even considered another bike - never thought I'd ever need another, really. As soon as I started riding off road, I started thinking like an N+1er - the gravel bike is fun, but I really need a full squish. The full squish is fun, but I really need a hardtail, and probably also a bigger full squish while I'm at it... etc. Almost as bad as knives!

I never realized it before, but your wharnie lil native really isn't that different from a small yojimbo, is it? Obviously doesn't have the piercing ability, but otherwise...

I really like when you switch to tool steels, cause in your use they are allowed to develope that typical, great tool steel looks... :smlling-eyes

One of the things I totally love with these steels: They"live", they "age", show use and a story, each blade gets its distinct, unique look over time (if people actually use their tool steel knives in all conditions, like imo it should be the case and has been for hundreds and hundreds of years).
Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)
