hah, i'm the opposite. won't buy a light that doesn't have a built in charging port.

another option is the nitecore edc 27. glad flashlight companies are finally getting away from thick round battery cells decades after gaming companies and phone manufacturers did.

Dang! I didn’t know that existed… I do love the simplicity of the wedge but I’ll have to look into this nitecore more…

i have three lights with usb ports. i don't have any issues with them, but i wanted to try the magnetic base and forgo the port. i would say i'm loving it so far, but i've only had to charge the light when i first opened it. i use it somewhat often and i play with the light and laser frequently, but it's still on full battery after almost two weeks.
