After trout fail and two salt-water jetty fishing fails, we went to a lake this morning that was can't miss.

I brought my Native 5 Magnacut, AND a Siren. I caught seven fish, the most of the three of us. This was the first, and, unfortunately, the largest! Most of these little chinquapins were swallowing the hook completely - never seen anything like it from fish this small.

1/16 or 1/32oz jigs under a bobber helps a lot with avoiding gut hooking smaller fish like that.
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

worms today. We were fishing for trout but could not avoid these little basturds. One guy did catch a bass, but no trout.
