What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Goddard with me on a another nice adventure in the mountains (searched for and found a forgotten cave that goes roughly 2/3 of a mile Into the mountain with a vertical drop of about 1/3 of a mile - then climbed a nice and easy line through the face of the peak on the right ).
This knife is really good.
Such a thin carry with still good ergos, my personal ideal "regular" blade/edge length for a folder and the M4 [no, 4V of course. Thanks for correctimg me jwbnyc] steel actually surpasses my already high expectations when it comes to edge holding.

4V steel.
This particular batch seems to be very hard. It would be nice to see an HRC number.
Oh, and btw, great picture Gernot!

Of course,, 4V

Thanks for correcting me (just got up, it's early morning here

/ Yes, going with my totally unscientific but based on a lot if knife use - feeling ("after all I've cut with that thing already most of my other folders should be pretty dull now but this one keeps going" this M4... wait, 4 V

Wharncliffe Dragonfly. It's often a secondary carry but it was primary today.
I'd love to see this in a premium stainless.

Had to search on the name to see what you were talking about and...oh my. I take it his pre-fall-from-grace period was wonderful.

Was going to do some fishing after work today, but when I got home I felt like staying home and settled for a little yard casting. You'll have to pardon the fact that my grass slowly goes dormant this time of year and does not look particularly good.
