That's a fair point. I'm blessed with pretty much endless gravel roads to explore here, which suits me just fine.kennethsime wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 9:57 pmIf it makes you feel any better, we don’t really have worthwhile gravel roads here. Most of my “gravel” riding is XC mtb riding, just a lot less comfortable.![]()
Because desolate places allow us to breathe. And most people don't even know they're out of breath.

It's going to be this one for awhile until I develop an appreciation for serrations.
The LJ/RJ platform itself is just fantastic. Just needs jimping on the ramp.

I was ambivalent about SE just like you and many others I suspect, just give it some time Jeff and you’ll cozy up to them…LJ/RJ design is Genius…haven’t decided if I miss the ramp jimping or not.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
this is the one thing i think i won't appreciate about the model. not a deal breaker, but i really like spyderco jimping and i think i'll miss it on the lj when i get one.

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
It is not a deal breaker. In fact, minus some Salt models, I don't think I could go another Seki route without this handle/ricasso combination. The Rock Jumper some time ago ruined that for me. So sales may not prove it, but with Spyderco's great jimping I do think we are missing out.

Centofante 3 - is my main 'in-house EDC' the past few months. It is proving itself very useful (universal design, nothing is getting in the way) in a variety of tasks. Plus the smooth FRN is not shredding my pants. I wish there were more of these 'smooth handled' knives.
... I like weird

Just sayin’

Funny enough, the lack of jimping on the thumb ramp might be my favorite part about the Rockjumper and Leafjumper!
