Salty, did you sand down the finger grooves on that Pac Salt 2? I had one for a few months and couldn't get used to the grip, but alas it never occurred to me to do that.

Finishing up another day with the PM2

Dang, good catch…I did in fact sand down the finger grooves as that’s the only thing that didn’t agree with me on such an incredible knife!!! I did it early on after I tried to like it but just couldn’t…what’s ironic is I didn’t touch the Endela and it feels fine…I think Gernot said something about less pronounced grooves on it?
BTW - I love the looks of your PM2!!!👊

They actually thickened or increased the height of the scales in between the grooves on the Endela. Points are in the same place and same height, but that extra height in between the grooves makes it feel much better.

Kapara for me today.

Haven't carried this one nearly enough. In fact I haven't even gotten around to reprofiling it yet! Small Sebenza is also along for the ride today, though not pictured.

Thanks LB, the linen maroon from Sharped Dressed Knives is pretty outstanding too. Almost a rich dark brown.

Definitely check out what Ripps Garage Tech has then. If they don't have them on their website, check DLT. They typically carry a lot of RGT scales.

**Edit - I think they call these Burgundy. Dragons blood may appeal too.

Feels odd to say it but I think this one's still my favorite PM2 even over the 15V version! This one is just so nice!

I need an all-prndltech knife-over-tool-shots calendar, hopefully with a big foldout showing his knife collection salaciously draped over his entire set of Snap-on and Milwaukee tools....ohhhh....baby....yeaaaaah.

Tenacious again. Can’t get enough of this knife.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.
