Doing some sharpening on these guys. First time doing k390, it’s not too bad with the diamond rods followed by the brown. Previous owner had a burr on one side so I smoothed that out and now she’s sharp; a nice toothy edge.
CruWear is always fun.
Edit: and yes there are some chips on the CruWear, was drinking with some buddies and I saw a ‘stick’ on the ground to cut, turned out to be a brown coloured cable of some sort. Edge damage was quite negligible and sharpening it back up was easy, didn’t want to sharpen too too much so left the chips after the rolled edge was repaired. It’s scary sharp and the chips are my first taste of serrated edges

Top three going by pocket-time (update April 25):
- EDC: Endela SE (K390). Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10), Chaparral SE (CTS XHP)
- Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), Endela SE (K390)
I really like the Blacksmith finish Lynch has. That being said, may want to check out some of MXG Gear's clip for that one. They have some with smaller profiles at the bend by the butt of the knife. The RJ's clip placement is further back than most Seki models so those lynch clips have more of the clip sticking out past the profile of the handle.
