Today was rainy in the morning while I worked in my shop and yard, sweaty while I was doing yard work, then even more sweaty as I did a 22 mile bike ride. MagnaCut was a good choice.

Do my eyes deceive me or is that a stonewashed blade?

If that’s a patina, it’s very uniform.

Doing some sharpening on these guys. First time doing k390, it’s not too bad with the diamond rods followed by the brown. Previous owner had a burr on one side so I smoothed that out and now she’s sharp; a nice toothy edge.

CruWear is always fun. 😄

Edit: and yes there are some chips on the CruWear, was drinking with some buddies and I saw a ‘stick’ on the ground to cut, turned out to be a brown coloured cable of some sort.😕 Edge damage was quite negligible and sharpening it back up was easy, didn’t want to sharpen too too much so left the chips after the rolled edge was repaired. It’s scary sharp and the chips are my first taste of serrated edges 😂
