You are probably correct, definitely not aStink Bug . It is longer and thinner in body. Antennas have Orange tips . It was on a Lilac leaf .

Awesome find! His head is flattened down a bit, so it looks like you caught some cool shots in one of its defense postures too.

They’re getting more rare to see these days. Were you by chance exploring the Cape Cod National Seashore?
