What "Other" is in your pocket???
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
The K2 is what really started the Spyderco addiction for me, so I've been looking for the Rex 121 version for years now. Finally found one, for a great price.

Shopping for my new Spyderco, I ran across a Doug Ritter EXLRSK® MK1-G2 - G10 (3.44" SW MagnaCut) G-Mascus® Grn G-10 Handle . I can't figure out how to post a picture, I'm not sure if I have that privilege yet. The Spyderco Manix 2 XL is on the Christmas list.

1. take a photo or save an image from the net
2. go to an image uploading service like www.catbox.moe or www.postimages.org
3. click the "upload" button
4. this will open up a file browser. navigate to your camera roll folder or downloads folder, and select the image you want to share.
5. copy the link, and use the img tags in brackets to tell the forum to show it as a picture and not a link.
Code: Select all
[img]your_link_here.jpg[/img]
this is how it looks if you just copy the link without the img tags - https://files.catbox.moe/gifvnf.jpg
quote this post to see what the code looks like

That's my favorite folder from other brands, a Recon 1 spear point.
Speaks to how confident Spyderco is in their product that they have a subsection where we can discuss other brands like this.

Thanks vivi
Yes, I’m on a phone . Will try later .
I am certain this knife will not be as robust as the Spyderco. It was a total impulse buy . I found the aesthetics and MagnaCut very appealing.

Something a bit different.

Before I got into one handed clip folders, I'd carry either a Victorinox Alox Soldier or a Buck 110.
The Alox Pioneer is the closest thing I could find to replace my last Soldier, which I gifted over a decade ago.
Makes me happy / nostalgic using this swiss army knife.
Also sanded the scales on my ESEE 4. They're the newer style 3D micarta scales. Dyed them green, then sanding them revealed a little of the original natural micarta color. The texture was a touch abrasive. Very happy with both the looks and functionality of the scales like this.
