Is anyone experiencing the lock biting onto the knife tang making a popping noise and harder to disengage the lock?
I think that is lock stick. My PM2 Micarta developed that. I typically slow roll my knives to open, but I noticed when I thumb flicked it open it was worse. Actually got worse the more I used it. I searched this forum for a fix. I found an old thread that said to loosen the lock bar and rotate it 90 degrees then tighten it back up. Takes about 5 seconds. Fixed it completely. I mean from terrible stick to one of the smoothest knives I own.

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

I tried that but it still does, might just have to send it in.
