Fake website

A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.

Fake website

Post by Kendodsworth »

Hi Guys,

My first post but I've been lurking on this forum for a while.
Be aware of this site if you are from the UK....https://www.mkdevelopmentpartnership.co.uk/

Like a fool I purchased a knife from here, it was the only UK site which had the knife I wanted that was on sale (**** you greedy bargain hunting brain) !!! Luckily it wasn't to much to hurt my wallet....just my pride haha as its the first time I've been scammed online.

I was weary at first due to the the name of the website but once I purchased the knife I was welcomed with a not so convincing order and welcome email.

Stay safe

My first post too, and I know the feeling! This fake site is duplicated in a bunch of other url's.
I was looking for Spyderco's online in Canada and found a site claiming to be selling them in Canada for good prices.
Too good to be true. All the sites are using domain names that were previously real businesses in Canada and others in different countries like Australia. They got my card #. before I figured out it was a scam. Then I did some investigations and found the other fakes. I'm sure there are more. here are a few I found:

https://www.traitdeplume.ca/

https://www.zimmermancustomflooring.ca/
and this one in Australia:

https://www.1sttmotel.com.au/

They failed to change the page re : delivery options and they all still reference Australia Post.

All the addresses and phone #'s are not valid.
lucky for me, I managed to lock my card and then cancel it before it could be charged.
