Are there fake UKPKs?

#1

Post by Senfkarte »

Here is an UKPK without the location of origin on the right side of the blade. Is that a straight hint for a fake or do such Spydercos exist? I never have seen any without the location, but I'm not 100% sure, if it is a must have for a real one.

There are fakes and this appears to be one of them.
Missing markings, font placement, no cutout in the show-side scale for the pocket clip, etc.
A tiger has claws.
A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.

Thanks. I thought it looks a little off, but I could not figure out, what exactly is wrong, besides the missing location, since I never had a UKPK. I'm waiting for the slat version.
