Fake Tuff?

#1

Post by DutchBlades »

I was really happy to finally find a Tuff for a decent price on the secondary market.
I wasn't aware of Tuff clones having been made, so I felt safe in buying it.
After receiving it, it just didn't feel right...

On the left is a verified Tuff and on the right is mine:
There's some obvious differences, like the pivot, font type and angle, clip, Ti finish, type of engraving of the logo, etc.

I did come across the following picture from Aliexpress/Alibaba or something, and it's pretty much the exact same as mine:

I'm 99% certain this is a clone, so watch out for any Tuff's you might find out there...
A tiger has claws.
A wolf has teeth.
An eagle has talons.
We, have Spyderco.

****. Sorry you got took. These clones today are getting harder to tell without vast experience on knock off knives. If you can get a refund. Do so. Or try to file a dispute with your bank, paypal, credit company, Etc... etc. Once again. Sorry this happened.
