Real or fake Spin?

#1

Post by Chleiti »

Hello all! Been lurking for a little while but finally got motivated to make an account and post- I just bought this Spin secondhand and it doesn't quite match the few photos I can find online, wanted to get a second opinion.

On a related note, any idea where I can get a replacement clip?

It looks okay to me, but I haven't looked at mine in quite a while. There are probably more fakes than real ones out there, though. You'd have to send it to Spyderco for verification to be certain. They might be able to replace the clip while they had it.

The fake Spins I have seen usually had black and grey boxes.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)
