Delica 4

#1

Post by bearrowland »

I picked this knife up from Amazon a couple of years ago, complete with box, instructions, etc. It's the only Amazon Spyderco I ever purchased, and am really gun-shy of them. Enclosed are some pics of it. The price was what you would expect to pay for a new Delica 4. I'm just trying to settle some nagging doubts I have been having. Is it a real Spyderco?

It's either real, or a really good clone.

Thanks Solidstate! I'm thrilled to know that! I've bought all mine from Spyderco except this one, and have heard all the stories about bootleg knives from there.

Can see no difference at all to my own black FRN Delica (despite mine is CE sabre grind).
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I was more leery of its source than the knife itself. It's wicked sharp and locks up nice and tight.
