Recently bought a knife off Amazon. I heard there's been problems recently though. The knife I bought looked legit until I saw this bit on the back though. It's got engravings like it should, though I didn't know about the W. The box says C223GPS like it should though, and the UPC is 7 16104 01185 8. (I was told somebody could check UPCs, dunno how or where, couldn't find a link.)
I just want to be sure. That Golden, Colorado U.S.A Earth bit still makes me laugh. It's hard not to if Spyderco obviously doesn't take this seriously.

Can't say for sure without a better picture, but it looks like the real deal.
