Fake Manix 2 LW... Do they exist?

There's a post on one of the FB groups of a blue lw that's missing the bug on the blade, and the logo on the circle on the scales... Still has tang markings. Blade shape looks off, as well, but the pics are not very good...
Thought it might have been a regrind, but the missing logo in the scales has me leaving heavily toward fake.
Have these been faked yet?
