Hello friends,
I have just received a Sage 1 ...or something that´s just looking like one. After disassembling i am not sure it is a clone or a real one. I miss the little blind hole on the carbon near the pivot screw. The missed blind hole seems to be unnecessary, but I've seen it on other pictures.
On the other side of the blade "Taiwan" is written. Not "TAIWAN". And I miss "TAICHUNG". What do you think? Just an other paperknife or Sage 1?!?

I think it's legit.

Only way to be absolutely certain is to send it in to Spyderco for evaluation, but the early Sage 1's and 2's just say Taiwan, rather than Taichung Taiwan, so it could very well be legit.
