Is this Caly 3.5 original?

Hi everyone!
I'm an italian collector of knives.
It's a pleasure to become part of the Spy family.
I've recentky bought a Caly 3.5 from another collector, but looking at all the chinese fakes around I'm a bit worried about my new knife.
Here are some pictures in attachment.

Is this real spyderco?

Welcome to the forum!

I do my best to stay up to date on what models have been counterfeited and I know there where some fake Caly 3's, but don't recall seeing any Caly 3.5's. I could have missed it though.

From what I can see in the pics your knife looks legitimate, but I guess the first two images were reversed somehow? (Lettering backwards, etc.) The resolution on the pics isn't very high, so it's hard to say with certainty.

If you don't get many replies here, you can try asking in the General forum, which is much more active.

Adout the pics, yes, they are somehow reverse due to resizing the original images. But of course lettering and symbols are in the right side of the blade.
However, compared the the finishing of my PM2, this seems legit to me too.

The texture / surface finish of the VG10 looks real. You can compare to several posts around here that shows Endura/Delica in VG10. There's a specific gleam to it, the way these are finished.
