Whitemountainknive Ebay

#1

Post by Pippo »

Hi, does anyone have the experience with whitemountainknive from ebay? I have purchased the PM2 S110V. Seems a good deal and after seeing almost all youtube videos plus pictures it seems original. Today I have been also in the knive shop in Prague, Czech Rep where I come from, compared the PM2 S110V with S30v shape, details and seems fine. Only thing that haven't convinced me is the bar code on the Spyderco box. Colors, golden spyder's nose tip, slightly darker grey tape which finish short in the right angle are ok but the numbers of the bar code don't touch the bars and are not soo thick. I will make a photos today evening my time and attach here. Thank you in advance for your opinions. Josef

I''d consider whitemountainkinves a trustworthy dealer, and am fairly sure almost anyone here who has dealt with them would say the same.

As for the boxes. I own "quite a few" Spydercos, many purchased new, so I have a lot of Spyderco boxes. All the my new ones come from trusted dealers, and I can assure you that the lettering on labels is a very unreliable test for authenticity as it varies in font, size, thickness, and placement from batch to batch.

I'd second that. I have bought many Spydercos (and other knives) from him, always fair prices and great service. 9 years on eBay and 99,9% positive feedback is enough to make me shop with 100% confidence.

Here are the pictures that I've taken. Not impressive quality, with Canon EOS 1200D 18-55mm basic set and taken at home.

Last details. Sorry for spamming. I think this is enough with pictures of Spyderco Paramilitary 2 S110V.

I have got just now the official reply from Spyderco Customer Service: White Mountain Knives does not buy directly from Spyderco, but through distributors. They are a reuptable dealer.
