Fake UKPK

#1

Post by Peruna »

Beware of this UKPK on that certain auction site:

http://cgi.ebay.com/RARE-SPYDERCO-KNIFE ... 41595ba358

It looks real enough, but if you look, it has no cut outs to switch the clip for left-hand carry. That most certainly makes it a Chinese knock-off.

Be careful out there.

It also has a weird, brown, cardboard box.

Yeah, it's the fakie Chinese one without the clip-slots on the other side ... the bug logo will be slightly wrong and the jimping isn't as crisp either ... sad to see someone actually passing one of these off as the real thing - it needs taking down :(
My spydies: Squeak, Tenacious, Terzuola, D'Allara, UKPK CF peel-ply pre-production, UKPK CF smooth pre-production, UKPK G10 orange leaf-blade, UKPK FRN grey drop-point, UKPK FRN maroon leaf-blade, Bug ... all PE blades :)
