I am guessing this one has an agreement with Spyderco

I'm almost certain that Yuna is licensed to use the Spyder hole.

with the price of the knife i was pretty sure it is licensed. For small time builders (under 50 knives a year IIRC) Spyderco only charges a buck a knife but you have to meet their criteria.

Description is pretty strange though,... first time I've ever seen "hand forged" on the same knife with "pure ZDP-189" though it could be done I guess, I just don't see why anyone would.

I'd probably chalk that up to the overactive imagination of the ebay seller. A lot of sellers sell "NIB" items that are made of recycled materials, for instance... :)

I concur about Yuna's blades - I had the opportunity to handle one once. Beautiful, high quality stuff.

I think this is actually a kind of cool design. A little busier than I would like, but the basic materials and ergos look pretty nice. Would like to hold it and see what my hands felt about it.

Very interesting knife...sort of Yojimbo-ish. I wouldn't trust that tip for much more than self defense though. Then again, i wouldn't be EDC'ing a knife i paid $825 for lol.
