Am I the only one seeing Manix2 lines?

I know there is a shiny footprints policy, but..

Boker is outsourcing these knives, that means some chinese laundry makes models and they just stamp Magnum on the ones that Boker team has chosen.

Nope, you're not the only one. Boker definitely took a trip down the low road on that one.

Wow, just wow.

Wow, that is a very obvious design rip. I'll admit I don't hate it though, being a huge Manix fan the overall design appeals to me. The handle looked okay, until I went to the site and saw the pocket clip side.

I didn't know Eric Glesser is now designing Boker's ergo's...they could have at least changed it a little, the ergonomic scheme is identical

You'd think someone at Boker would have noticed the obvious similarity and said let's pass on this one.

It looks like a Manix 2 passed through a fuglitizer :) It really annoys me that a major maker would create such an obvious rip off. I know we are supposed to stick to not bashing any other makers but come on....

Hi all,
This May be a total Chinese copy, having nothing to do with Boker,or their name. They counterfit Bokers also. I have seen other knives reproduced with other brand names which had nothing to do with the production of such fakes. Columbia is a name which comes to mind, if they are a real company that produces knives, and they probably have no idea that their name is being used. Just a thought! Trying to take the High Road!!!
Thanks,
Charlie

Would be comforting if that were true. But unfortunately that seems impossible. The link 224477 provided is to Boker's German website and the photo he posted is hosted on their website as well. To me, anyway, that rules out any possibility it was done without their knowledge and consent.

It seems to have been removed from their site.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.
