Janisong 2 etc

#1

Post by leBaron »

Hi All,

Does any of you know if there will be a "Janisong 2" ( Made in the USA ) some day, or will the Janisong simply be discontinued ? I'm thinking about buying another one and I'm just wondering what the right time is...

Thanks for your feedback

Hey, leBaron:

Unfortunately, the popularity of our US models makes it challenging to introduce new US-made models--especially something as complicated as the JaniSong. That, combined with the fact that it only appeals to a niche audience, makes it unlikely.

As far as its continued life as a Taiwan-made product, that's above my pay grade...

Stay safe,

Hello Mike, thanks for your answer. I guess I'll treat myself to another one for Christmas, as a collector's knife, the other one is still my EDC. As you might have seen in my other posts, I like the knife, thanks for the invention.

Greetings

Bummer. I want one bad but they seem to go for about $400 here in the US and I cannot do that unfortunately. :(

That is a proud price.
At Lamina Shop about $211 for orders (Europe).
But unfortunately this knife is not available in every country in Europe.

I need to do some research about those laws and see about a layover for a trip to France we had to cancel... If we ever have a chance to go to Europe again at all

I still want one! Disappointed in the latest Smallfly aesthetics. Want a Janisong.
