Couldn’t resist any longer and got one coming from KSF! This will rotate with my SE Caribbean Leaf as a compliment to my fixed blades when not at work.

I just bought one, in protest, because I found a killer price that I couldn’t pass up.

I got the full serrated autonomy 2 today. This is my fourth autonomy and the action is the most disappointing of them all. My grandmother could open a para 2 faster than this blade opens. I’m going to disassemble, clean, oil, and maybe swap out the spring. Autonomies typically launch like a **** rocket but this particular model is soooo slow. I’m not feeling any resistance so it’s likely a weak spring. I’m sort of dissatisfied but luckily I’m able and capable to fix it on my own.

That stinks. I had to check my backup just to make sure, but both of mine fire as expected.

I ordered the SE Autonomy 2 yesterday from KSF.
My first fully serrated blade
Hoping the problems Rinzler had with a weak spring and metal shavings dont appear in mine or were a function of the previous reddit owner

Did yours come in yet?How is the action? I just ordered one from knifeworks. Its my first autonomy and first SE in lc200.
:bug-red-white I collect them all, and use them all! I use the excuse, "I'm trying to find the perfect one", but in reality, they are all perfect in their own way!

I have had a C165GPBBK2 on back order since last October with Blade HQ plain blade LC200N. I have called in twice to check status and they state not yet released. They say they will sell in the order you placed your pre-order, so does anyone have some insight on this matter? 😁

I should clarify that the blacked out serrated version I bought was an absolutely new knife from a dealer who sells on Reddit. Not a used knife.

I’ve opened it about 50 times and the button lock feels like it’s really gritty. I might pull it apart, take a picture, then reassemble to gauge observed wear on the part.

Got mine in today from knifeworks. Full SE. First 5 or 6 fires it was having trouble firing hard enough to lock the blade out. I manually worked the blade in and out a few times, could feel it loosen up. Snaps right into place now no issues. I didn't have any grit or shavings in mine. I will say that the way the button pushes through the frame and scales on the opposite side of the button could be the issue some are having. If that thing is even slightly misaligned it could easy rub. Not a lot of clearance there, but by design that's the point and what makes it lock up solid. Overall very happy with it. Ive wanted one for a long time now and finally got my hands on one.

Hey Mule, welcome to the forum! :bug-red
The Blacked out plain edge Autonomy 2 did release. Looks like the first batch is sold out everywhere now though. I PM'd you a good lead if you don't want to wait for BladeHQ.

Mine arrived almost 2 weeks ago.
I was really surprised how strong the spring is on this model.
Really snaps open with authority. No grittyness on open or close.
Touched it up on the brown rods just to give the spydie edge a bit more pop.
Not disappointed one bit with this model.

Probably has to do with the blade being shorter and probably a little lighter weight. The same spring strength would open a lighter blade much faster.

Was working in Erlanger at the Duke gas plant on Crescent Springs Pike for the past 3 weeks repairing a leaking gas main.

I'm trying to think of reasons this shouldn't be my next Spyderco, and I'm drawing a blank.

Even though I have some very nitpicky issues with it, it’s a great knife. Do it.
